Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kalungu
This delicious coffee is sourced from the village of Kalungu, located near the shores of lake Kivu - one of the African great lakes. The Kalungu washing station serves 380 smallholder farmers who live in the surrounding areas, 44% of whom are women. Fire & Flow are a speciality coffee roaster based in the heart of The Cotswolds. Started by childhood friends who decided to follow their passion for coffee, we’re fully focused on supporting our partners with best in class coffee, training, and equipment nationally. We work with skilled, ethically minded and sustainability focused farmers who go to great lengths to produce the highest quality Arabica coffee beans. We take great pride in maintaining the quality of the bean, roasting in small batches to produce delicious coffee that we absolutely love, and hope you will too.
To get back on track, we simply aim to inspire others and share our experience on how to get the most out of speciality coffee. We do this with a simple purpose in mind - to celebrate the quality of the bean and honour the devoted farmers at the source.
