Region
Western Highlands
Origin
Papua New Guinea
Producer
Paul Pora

It is the highest producing coffee region in the country. In the past, land selection for coffee production was not based on scientific principles, rather coffee gardens and estates were developed on what land became available.

The volcanic soil in this area is very fertile, making it one of the biggest coffee cherry suppliers of Papua New Guinea. Paul Pora owns and operates the Grass Roots wet mill. Paul’s background and knowledge in the industry is reflected in the management of the wet mill and the quality coffee that he produces consistently.

Full Court Press describes a defensive tactic used in basketball. It’s a no-compromise, all-out approach. This ties into how we approach the quality of coffee we serve and the service we give. No compromise.

For us honesty is key. We aim to be both clear and transparent about the drinks we serve and the way we serve them. With every cup, we highlight the unique flavours that showcase not only the terroir but the effect of every step along the production chain, from picking to brewing. It is through this open attitude that we feel we can best highlight the work of everyone involved in coffee production.
